| What we did: |
Baptized a new baby, hung out at my brother's place and
rested up for the next few days of fun in the sun! Hah...that was simple!
Ok, Ok...we did more than that. We all got up early, because Gerard was getting baptized at the
early mass. Everybody got up early, made it to the church on time and the baptism went on
without a hitch. Got to meet alot of David's friends from church, work and the neighborhood and
I got a few more ideas for Tinker and Petey's Big Adventure. Found out that the dogs can run free
at Dog Beach...so of course we'll check that out in the next couple of days.
After all of the guests left, Tinker, Petey and I crashed for a 4+ hour nap. Wow...we all
needed that. Gavin let us have his room during our visit...and the breeze through the house
was fantastic. Great sleeping room...thanks Gavin!
Next it was time to give the "Savage Beast" a bit of pampering. Took the truck to the local
do-it-yourself car wash and cleaned it up good! A Clean Truck is A Happy Truck!
Next it was off to the Taco Shop in Rancho Bernardo. David took me there when I came to
visit for Superbowl XXXI. Tommy V. and I never made it to the game...we
were overcome with sanity (tickets were $2000 10 minutes into the game). But I remembered those
burritos and we had dinner once again at the Taco Shop. Other than the 3 hours I'm spending
on updating the web site...that was it for today! |
