Tinker and Petey caught up on their rest and hung out with mom.
Dad and I made it to the course bright and early, with high expectations of shooting a
wonderful score. About 5 and a half hours later, reality imposed its cruel hand, egos
bruised, golf balls lost and strokes liberally applied to our scores! Browndeer is where
the Greater Milwaukee Open (GMO) is held every year. The GMO is an annual PGA Tour event
and it will be held July 12-15 this year. We golfed one day before the course would be closed
for final preparations for the tournament. The rough was ROUGH. The fairways were sweet
(when we took advantage of them!) and the greens were true. I enjoyed the time golfing with dad
and we both got our money's worth stokewise.
Took a good 3 hour nap (final preparation!) on the couch...Seems that whenever I visit, that
family room couch is calling me to catch up on needed rest.
